Cookie Policy
This document informs you about the technologies this website uses to achieve the purposes described below, and how you can manage your choices. For the processing of personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.
Trackers, cookies and similar technologies
These technologies allow the owner of the site to store information (for example with a cookie) or access resources (for example by running a script) on your device while you interact with the site. For simplicity we refer to all of them as “trackers”; the word “cookie” is used only where that specific type of tracker is meant.
This site uses both trackers managed directly by us (“first-party”) and trackers that enable services provided by third parties (“third-party”). Some purposes require your consent, which you can withdraw at any time as described below. The lifetime of cookies and similar trackers may vary: some expire when you close the browsing session, others persist for a defined period. More precise and up-to-date details may be found in the privacy policies of the third-party providers listed below.
How this site uses trackers
Necessary (no consent required)
Technical trackers used for activities strictly necessary to operate the site and deliver the service you request. They are used without consent.
- cookie-consent — first-party cookie that stores the choice you make in the preferences panel so we don’t ask again on every visit. Duration: up to 1 year.
- Theme preference — your browser’s local storage keeps your light/dark theme choice. It is not sent to our servers and persists until you clear your browser data.
Experience (consent required)
Trackers that improve the quality of your experience and enable interactions with external content and platforms.
- Google Maps — provider: Google Ireland Limited. On the Contact page we embed an interactive map. The map is loaded only after you enable the “Experience” category, and Google may set its own cookies on your device. Place of processing: Ireland / United States. See Google’s privacy policy.
Measurement (consent required)
Trackers that let us measure traffic and analyse how the site is used, in aggregate, to improve the service.
- Google Tag Manager — provider: Google Ireland Limited. It is the system used to deploy and manage the measurement tools listed in this section. The container is loaded only after you enable the “Measurement” category; Google advertising consent remains denied.
- Google Analytics 4 — provider: Google Ireland Limited. Statistics about how visitors use the site. These cookies are set only after you enable the “Measurement” category. Typical cookies: _ga and _ga_<id> (duration up to 2 years). Place of processing: Ireland / United States. See Google’s privacy policy and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Managing your preferences and consent
Where the use of trackers is based on consent, you can give or withdraw it at any time through the preferences panel on this site — reopen it via the Cookie preferences link in the footer. For third-party trackers you can also manage your choices through the opt-out links or the means indicated in the third party’s privacy policy.
Controlling cookies through your browser
You can use your browser settings to see, block or delete cookies already stored on your device. Browser settings, however, do not allow granular control of consent by category. Instructions for the most common browsers:
Consequences of refusing trackers
You are free to decide whether to allow the use of trackers. However, trackers help the site provide a better experience and advanced features (in line with the purposes above). If you block them, we may be unable to provide the related features — for example the embedded map on the Contact page.
